Mustek, one of the country’s largest assembler and distributors of personal computers and complementary ICT products, has been appointed as a distributor of ASUS’s Networking products in South Africa.

“The ASUS range of products caters for both consumer and enterprise networking. They are easy to set up, operate at high speed and boast long range, stable signal, as well as cloud and security features,” says Alet Pelser, ASUS Networking product manager at Mustek. “ASUS are known as ‘beasts’ in the world of networking, much like the Lamborghini in the

world of cars, so we are excited to welcome them to our formidable stable.”

Mustek will distribute ASUS’s full range of Networking products, including:

  • High-end wireless routers
  • Wireless access points and range extenders
  • xDSL modem routers
  • USB WiFi adaptors
  • Network accessories

“ASUS is a fearless innovator at the cutting edge of technology, offering a diverse and extensive array of computer hardware to tech-enthusiasts and power-users. We’re thrilled to have Mustek on board as a distribution partner for ASUS Networking,” says Peter Chang, ASUS Product Manager – Open Platform Business Group, Sub-Saharan Africa. He continues, “We have seen a steady growth in notebook and tablet sales since our partnership with Mustek Limited began in 2013. I’m confident we can widen our reach of Networking products even further and take the partnership to new heights.”

ASUS networking is targeted at gamers, multi-taskers and high work load users, and is ideal for networks with high traffic volume.

All ASUS Networking products purchased via Mustek’s accredited resellers’ channel will benefit from a 24 month carry-in warranty. Terms and conditions apply.
