MTN SA has introduced its new Bonus Bonanza price plan for prepaid customers, effective immediately. The Bonus Bonanza price plan offers customers double bonus airtime value every time they recharge with R5 or more.
The bonus airtime can be used for voice calls, data and SMS.
Existing customers on any MTN prepaid plan can migrate to the new Bonus Bonanza price plan for free by dialling *136*4*1# or through the MTN App. New customers joining MTN from 9 December 2022 will by default be enrolled into the Bonus Bonanza price plan.
All MTN customers benefit from personalised bundle offers via our Made4U platform by dialling *142# or by visiting the MTN App, while customers still have access to our broad range of voice and data bundles, such as the popular WhatsApp 1GB 30-day bundle at R35 and the Facebook 300MB 7-day bundle at R10.
If customers prefer not to buy bundles, Bonus Bonanza rates are R0.99 per minute, billed per second, R0.25 per MB and R0.25 per SMS. The bonus airtime is depleted at R2.50 per minute, R1.00 per MB and R0.50 per SMS. Customers have 24 hours to make use of the bonus airtime.

By way of an example, every time a customer recharges R25 they will receive R25 bonus airtime, which translates into 10 free minutes or 25MB free data or 50 free SMSs or a combination thereof. We hope this will help ease the financial pressure they are feeling, while at the same time rewarding customers for recharging” says Seun Soladoye, General Manager for Consumer Prepaid.
