MTN Group has appointed Thato Motlanthe to the position of Executive for Investor Relations, with effect from 1 September 2019. Motlanthe replaces Nik Kershaw who left MTN Group at the end of May 2019, and will report to Ralph Mupita, MTN Group CFO. Naspers has announced plans to list Prosus on Euronext Amsterdam along with a secondary, inward listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) in South Africa on Wednesday 11 September 2019. The Gauteng High Court in Pretoria has set aside the City of Tshwane’s (CoT’s) Municipal Broadband Network Project contract which was awarded to Thobela Telecoms, a special purpose vehicle in which Altron Nexus, a subsidiary of JSE-listed Altron, was a minority shareholder. Altron Nexus was involved as primary network designer and architect, supplier of broadband equipment and related services. Troubled JSE-listed technology group EOH has lost two CEOs of its subsidiaries, Nextec and ICT business. The company announced on Monday that Zunaid Mayet, executive director and CEO of EOH subsidiary Nextec,  has resigned as the CEO of Nextec and from the EOH Holdings board and various other EOH subsidiary boards.
