An MTN store at Columbine Square Centre in the South of Johannesburg was robbed on Friday afternoon.
The Community Police Forum said the robbery at the MTN store took place at 12:30.
It added that three men entered the MTN store and helped themselves with stock.
They fled the Columbine Square Centre in a small white bakkie, which had no registration number and no canopy.
The police are are on scene.
MTN was asked for comment on the incident, but had not replied by the time of publication.
On the 1st October, another MTN store at Mall of the South was robbed. Mall of the South is just few kilometres from the Columbine Square.
The suspects entered the store posing as delivery staff and informed the staff that an armed robbery was in progress.
Hester Smith, Mall of the South Centre Manager, said at the time that the MTN staff members were forced to go to their storeroom where they were tied up with cable ties.
“One suspect, wearing the MTN uniform, was standing outside the store as a lookout while the other suspects were inside,” Smith explains.
She added that the suspects left the store with a delivery trolley with bags on it.
“The suspects fled the scene in a white Nissan NP200 with canopy with an undisclosed amount of goods.”
No shots were fired and no injuries sustained during the robbery.
