Vodacom, South Africa’s biggest mobile phone operator, announced on Thursday that Jabu Moleketi has been appointed to the position of chairman. The appointment is effective from 19 July 2017. Moleketi replaces Peter Moyo, who will retire and step down from the board of Vodacom at the forthcoming annual general meeting to be held on Tuesday 18 July 2017.
