Why Are Privacy Crypto Coins Becoming Frontrunners in Q4 2025? GhostWareOS, ZCash, Monero & More

Privacy crypto projects are becoming the best cryptos to buy now as the niche continues to outperform the broader market in the final quarter of 2025. Even as Bitcoin and the top altcoins crashed, the leading privacy cryptos held firm, with the ZEC price and the XMR price both hitting new multi-year highs.

However, the ZEC price has recently started to pull back, posting a 20% loss in 24 hours, and the Monero price hasn’t fared much better. Some analysts believe this may be because these projects are seen as overvalued, and capital is rotating into smaller-cap privacy projects.

The hunt for the best crypto to buy has therefore turned toward finding privacy coins with smaller market caps and convincing roadmaps. The leading candidate in this field appears to be GhostwareOS ($GHOST), which offers a low entry price, a comprehensive technology stack, and a rapidly growing community that has attracted over 10,000 holders just weeks after launch.

The Best Crypto To Buy Now: Privacy Cryptos Dominate Bull Run

Even as the XMR and ZEC prices have pulled back over the past six months, they have dominated the market, and it’s unlikely that the privacy crypto narrative is coming to an end. However, this does appear to be the right moment for ZEC and XMR profit holders to consider rotating into smaller projects that offer better potential returns and are not yet boasting multi-billion-dollar valuations.

$GHOST: The Top Privacy Crypto To Buy Now

GhostwareOS is a Solana-based privacy solution with several key features expected to go live in the short term. The token launched in late October and has since accumulated over 10,000 holders. Directly after launch, GHOST surged to its all-time high of $26 million, giving early buyers an easy 26x return, but it has since pulled back to what many traders see as the perfect buying opportunity.

One of the most valuable aspects of the project is its operation on Solana, where demand for a robust privacy solution has been growing rapidly. This trend is highlighted by the success of Zenrocks’ wrapped Zcash token, which has generated over $15 million in trading volume on Solana since the start of November.

The project’s mission is centered on empowering users to interact privately and securely online, inspired by the principles of the Freedom of the Press Foundation. Its technology stack includes GhostPay, a privacy-enhanced payment layer designed to make transactions untraceable while maintaining speed and scalability.

Analysts believe GHOST could outperform legacy projects like ZEC and XMR due to its smaller market cap and advanced technology. On-chain data suggests both new wallets and existing whales have been accumulating during the dip, anticipating a strong recovery once GhostPay and other utilities go live.

Zcash Price Rally Cools

The ZEC price has rallied by over 1000% in the past month, and even with the recent pullback, it remains one of the most successful cryptos of this cycle. Anyone who held through the bear market and the first half of 2025 is now sitting on massive returns, which explains the current wave of profit-taking.

Technical indicators suggest consolidation near the $500 level as traders lock in profits and momentum slows. Analysts believe this phase could continue for several weeks before any renewed push higher.

Even if a pullback continues, ZEC’s valuation is unlikely to drop below $7 billion, meaning there may be limited opportunities to accumulate the token at a reasonable price before the end of the year.

Monero Price Hits Resistance

Even though the XMR price has pulled back from its $450 high, it has still returned over 100% in the past year. Although this is a fairly modest gain compared to the Zcash price surge, it still outperforms the majority of leading altcoins and Bitcoin.

Technical indicators now suggest that Monero is entering a consolidation phase, with resistance forming near the $400 level and support holding around $340. During this cooling period, capital could begin rotating into newer privacy coins, and GHOST appears well-positioned to benefit from this shift as traders seek higher upside potential in the privacy crypto niche.

Final Thoughts: Monero Price vs. Zcash Price vs. GHOST

The Zcash price pullback and the broader hit taken by the privacy crypto market suggest that the rally might be cooling. However, demand for wrapped ZEC on Solana shows that the focus may now be shifting toward Solana, where privacy solutions are still in their early stages. GhostwareOS is well-positioned to lead this new wave of privacy crypto innovation, making it arguably the best crypto to buy now for anyone looking to gain exposure to the growing privacy market.
