According to a research project conducted by the Elvey Group (a company in the Hudaco group of companies)[1], the current value of the South Africa security technology market is R5.84 billion, with a constant growth indicated prior to COVID-19, and then again from 2021. Confidence in the sector is apparent in the record number of visitors who attended Securex South Africa in June 2023. This year, the award-winning Securex South Africa 2024 will build on its reputation as Africa’s largest and most comprehensive showcase of security products and services from 11 to 13 June at Gallagher Convention Centre.
“Taking place with co-located A-OSH EXPO, Facilities Management Expo, and Firexpo 2024 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, Securex South Africa continues to grow in popularity due to its continued focus on industry needs. People are pressed for time in a competitive and demanding market, so being able to discuss their needs with knowledgeable exhibitors, and find the appropriate solutions all under one roof is of great benefit to these industry professionals,” says Mark Anderson, Portfolio Director at Specialised Exhibitions (a division of Montgomery Group).

Anderson points out that the variety of security solutions on offer at Securex South Africa is constantly growing to meet the demands of a market that has become increasingly security conscious.
“From armoured vehicles and protective clothing, to high-tech cameras and access control systems, together with cybersecurity systems and security software, there is a product or service geared towards multiple needs across all industries.”
