A South African business outsourcing provider has announced the appointment of a new director who will be responsible for bringing in new clients and delivering growth across the country’s domestic market.
Sigma Connected South Africa, which offers expertise in customer contact and collections across South Africa’s utilities, retail, financial services and telecommunications sectors, has appointed Nompumelelo Nyawo as New Business Development Director based in Johannesburg.
Reporting to Managing Director David Neale, Nompumelelo’s role will be to identify new business development opportunities, support the growth of the company’s product offering, and expand Sigma’s presence across South Africa’s public and private sectors
Nompumelelo joins Sigma Connected, part of the Digicall Group, from Private Property where she was the property website’s Head of Business Development.
David Neale said: “Our goal is to the leading outsourcing services provider here in South Africa and Nompumelelo joining us will help to achieve that. She is hugely respected and comes with a tremendous track record of developing brands, building existing business and enhancing reputations.
“We are delighted to have appointed her and she is already making an impact.”

Aside from its offices in Johannesburg, Sigma Connected South Africa also has offices across Western Cape and pledged this year to bring 1,000 new jobs.
