Oppo Reno5, the perfect gaming phone, is now available in South Africa, exclusively at Vodacom and MTN stores.

Oppo said the Reno5 is geared to offer an alternative option to the growing number of South Africans that are quickly adapting to an online method of working, earning and living.

The latest smartphone was officially launched today in South Africa.

The starting price for Reno5 is R14 999.00.

It promises to provide the fastest charging phone in the market. “With a built-in output charging pin, the device gets to 100% in just 36 minutes safely, to ensure better usage and functionality over longer periods of time,” Oppo said.

5G – enabling a more connected life

While the Reno5 offers smart, superfast charging it enables faster downloads thanks to its 5G capabilities.

“The Reno5 is our most ambitious smartphone model yet. Offering ultra-fast, ultra-powerful connectivity and high-end technology that works,” says Liam Fourie, Head of Got-to-Market and Operations in OPPO South Africa.

“It incorporates world-class updates into a usable device that upgrades the consumer’s daily digital efficiencies, while using humanable technology that improves everyday connection to each other, especially during these uncertain times. We understand that our smartphone is one of the most powerful tools we own today.”

For creative minds – the difference in the details

The Reno5 aims to challenge the basic rules of smartphone offerings by including premium functionalities, and tech innovations to appeal to creative minds, and enable them to fully express themselves. Using OPPO’s Image Clear Engine AI, the Reno5 takes picture-perfect images no matter the light, noise or distance. The dual-camera videography features enable the simultaneous use of both the front and rear camera to ensure that no one is left out.
