Public Display Technologies (PDT), a South African technology and communications company, focused on the delivery of turnkey solutions, has snapped up three awards for their work with Holographic 3D displays – delivered in partnership with HYPERVSN.

The accolades were awarded at the tt100 Business Innovation Awards program, which was launched in 1991 to create an awareness of the role of technology and innovation in South Africa.

PDT received the following awards:

  • The Da Vinci Award for Best Innovation Concept
  • The MTN Award for Excellence in the Management of Innovation
  • The Greg Tosen Award for Excellence in the Management of Technology.

“The quality of the visuals and flexibility in terms of pricing and hologram configurations enable us to offer retail, corporate and other clients a unique and interactive way of displaying their content,” says PDTs CEO, Cornel van Lingen.

“In a congested content world, it is the brave and innovative that win the biggest share of voice. HYPERVSN 3D holographic displays provide that vehicle to delight and surprise audiences, be they shoppers, event delegates, employees or whoever the target group is.”

PDT has gradually grown into a full-service communications company, specialising in a variety of technologies. The South African born company is experienced in interactive kiosks, point of sale devices and outdoor LED displays. This combines with the full suite of software and digital display products that create and operate communications networks.

tt100 seeks to identify role models within the Management of Innovation and Technology domains who have demonstrated their excellence in co-creating new workplace realities. It is the possibilities for data visualisation and communication via holograms that helped reaffirm PDTs credentials as a company that always brings future-proof solutions to local shores.
