Nowadays in every Electronic device printed circuit board is getting used. Either it is a computer or any other device. Today’s the most basic device used by everyone is a Smartphone either an Android or an iPhone. In Smartphone also printed circuit board gets used widely.

Even now a day’s in iPhone also PCB are used. They made the devices work faster and reliable than before. The iPhone uses a printed circuit board with 64-bit architecture. Furthermore, the motion coprocessor allows the iPhone to deliver faster speed, amazing graphics, and functionality. The speed and other features are seen this time was never seen before. Furthermore with the help of printed circuit boards the NFC functionality of iPhone and the Bluetooth 4.0 features to get strengthen more.

PCB is the physical component in the devices that run electronically. The printed circuit boards are made up of plastic or solder that is a metal part works in transferring energy. Printed circuit boards not only works in supplying to the power but also the mechanics of a device gets supported by them. The reason behind that this is that printed circuit board does not only provide power but also transfers the signals to different parts of the device. In simple words, we can say that the printed circuit board is the brain of a device without which the device cannot function properly.

When we talk about printed circuit boards the first and foremost thing that gets into consideration is the number of layers it has. A printed circuit board can either have a single layer or 10 layers also. The more a device is complex, then the number of layers it will have. Furthermore printed circuit boards can also be single or double sided where you can find it from Ray PCBfor better quality.

Designing, Printing, And Manufacturing A PCB for iPhone

If you want to get a top quality assembled printed circuit board that helps you in all the technological needs then you must meet a PCB design expert. At Rayming, the PCB designer will not only help you in getting the best Ray PCB but also analyze it according to the requirements of the product or we can see the device. The PCB designer will go through the following steps to complete the manufacturing and assembling of a printed circuit board.

Steps that are included in designing and manufacturing a Ray PCB are:

  • Schematic Design,
  • Board Design With Eda Software,
  • Manufacturing,
  • Assembly, And
  • Testing.

Important things to follow

First of all, the designer creates a schematic. Schematic is the first step that gets done before designing the printed circuit board. Furthermore, it is a step that never gets overlooked. It is just like a roadmap for a circuit that contains all the symbols series that will help in getting details about the aspects of the circuits including the nodes, resistors, switches and several others. This step proves to be very helpful in case of troubleshooting the issues of the printing circuit board.

After capturing the circuit design, the designers translate the circuit into EDA. EDA is abbreviated as Electronic Design Automation. It is a software package having the set of instructions used in producing the PCB.

After getting the Gerber or CAD file that designers manufacturers the printed circuit board. The Gerber or CAD file helps in dictating the dimensions of the printed circuit boards. It includes the details like the number of layers the printed circuit board will have, position of the components used, ground and laid out, traces of the Signals and several others. Every board has a different requirement hence it is important for the designer to decide whether the user needs the surface mount or thru-hole, single- or double-sided fabrication, or any other feature.

After completing the above-given steps the last process to be followed in testing the PCB functions. The white box testing of the printed circuit board will help in ensuring that it is a structured popularly after getting fabricated. The main motive to test the printed circuit board is to check every output. Through this step, each function of PCB gets tested and ensured by the designers. In the black box testing, the designers only test the inputs and outputs without considering the specifications. But when it comes to white box testing, designers always focus on every method and pathway of the printed circuit board. Through the white box testing the design and ensure that there should be no failure occur.
