The company said in a statement that the Look Watch can access internet and make two-way calls without being tethered to a smartphone.

The maker of IoT solutions added that with its advanced suite of features and software, the Look Watch is a solution designed with today’s needs in mind.

Laipac Technology was founded in 1999 by Canadian entrepreneurs Maria C. Pacini and Diego Lai.

The vision of Laipac was simple to provide peace of mind to customers by crafting the absolute best, most reliable, and easiest-to-use GPS asset trackers and geolocators on the market.

The company stated that the Look Watch is also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.

It added that the Look watch’s GPS capabilities are integrated into the watch’s hardware, making it fully GPS enabled with Laipac’s award-winning technology.

It added that the watch comes with the high-resolution AMOLED display of 400 x 400 true colours, covered with anti-scratch sapphire glass and touch-screen for ease-of-use.

Laipac said the watch is water resistant and safe to wear in the rain.

The watch has plenty of memory as it comes with a 16GB of storage memory and 1.Ghz processor with 1GB of RAM, giving you the ability to store hundreds of songs, video clips and photos.

More than just an activity tracker

Look Watch’s Guardian Angel Connect gives you the ultimate peace of mind, said the company, adding: “You can relax knowing you and your loved ones are safe”.

Laipac has built its reputation on vehicle tracking, asset monitoring and mobile healthcare devices since 1999.

Laipac’s mPERS (mobile Personal Emergency Response Service) technology has been used to protect field workers, law enforcement agents, professionals, families, and business executives in over 100 countries.

The company said the Look Watch connects to LocationNow.com through Guardian Angel Connect feature; where at any given time, the user can freely enable or disable the Guardian Angel Connect on the Look Watch.

“In case of emergency, one second touch on the SOS button will call pre-set fast dial numbers for voice calls. However, with a longer 3-second press it will call the user’s predefined emergency numbers as well as send an SMS,

and deliver GPS location data to LocationNow.com,” said Laipac.

The company added that the Look Watch acts as an enhanced activity tracker, monitoring heart rate, steps travelled, and even showing the exact route taken by the user.
