Vodacom is calling customers to “Change the Game”

Vodacom, South Africa’s largest mobile phone operator, in a creative and clever advert is calling subscribers to remain with the best network in the country to avoid #SlaapTiger network and potential customers to #ChangeTheGame by joining the country’s super-fast network #PowerToYou.

The operator is asking potential customers not to let a bad connection slow them down by switching to its super-fast LTE network.

“By switching to SA’s best mobile network you switch to a range of top devices, convenience and reliable connectivity that always has you covered,” says Vodacom.

The company added that if you want to #ChangeTheGame switch to its network.

“61 million subscribers must be on to something. Say goodbye to bad signal. With over 10 000 signal towers across South Africa, Vodacom’s 99.8% network coverage will get you and keep you closer to your friends and family,” the operator says.

Vodacom added that there’s no time for buffering on it’s super-fast LTE network.

The mobile phone operator said potential customers must “switch from slow-mo to go-go with super speed.

Last month, Cell C dangled a whopping R10 000 reward to new customers who ditch contracts with Vodacom and MTN and sign up with South Africa’s third largest mobile service provider – but the unprecedented move raises sustainability questions.

South Africa’s third mobile phone operator said that contract and TopUp customers can qualify for an amount of between R1, 000 and R10, 000, plus a new handset, if they sign up for one of the seven new Cell C’s EPIC plans.
