Two decades after its launch in Sydney, FP Markets has marked its 20-year anniversary with a reaffirmation of its global presence and continued focus on delivering a comprehensive trading experience. The milestone comes at a time when the online brokerage industry is seeing heightened competition and increasing demand for diverse products and fast, stable technology. FP Markets has responded by reinforcing the very qualities that have helped sustain its long-term position in the market.

Celebrating a Milestone with Substance

The anniversary announcement highlights FP Markets’ journey from a local forex broker in Australia to a multi-regulated brokerage with clients across continents. Today, the firm operates under regulatory licenses from six major authorities, including ASIC (Australia), CySEC (Cyprus), FSCA (South Africa), FSC (Mauritius), SCB (Bahamas), and CMA (Kenya). This regulatory spread has allowed the company to build a broad client base while meeting a variety of regional compliance standards.

Its infrastructure reflects a similar commitment to scale and reliability. FP Markets makes use of Equinix data centers to support low-latency execution, helping clients minimize slippage and gain access to interbank pricing. The broker offers more than 10,000 tradable CFD instruments across asset classes, including forex, shares, indices, commodities, metals, cryptocurrencies, bonds, and ETFs.

The trading experience is supported by access to a wide selection of platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView, WebTrader, and the FP Markets mobile app. Clients can choose between a Standard or Raw account, both of which require a minimum deposit of $100. The Raw account offers spreads from 0.0 pips with a commission, while the Standard account offers commission-free trading with spreads from 1.0 pip.

Additional features include support for Expert Advisors, VPS hosting, and swap-free Islamic accounts. The broker also offers a social trading platform where users can follow and copy experienced traders or become strategy providers themselves. Educational content is available through an online academy aimed at helping traders understand the markets more clearly.

Long-Term Recognition and a Focus on Stability

Rather than relying on a single strength, FP Markets has built its brand around consistency. Over the years, the broker has earned more than 60 industry awards. These recognitions include Best Global Forex Value Broker for five consecutive years, as well as accolades for customer support, trade execution, and transparency at several fintech award events.

Recent awards such as Best Trading Experience – Africa and Best Price Execution at the Brokersview Awards in Singapore underscore FP Markets’ relevance across both established and emerging markets. These achievements reflect more than just marketing success. They point to ongoing investment in platform performance, support services, and client experience.

Partnership programs have also played a role in the broker’s long-standing market presence. FP Markets offers multiple models for affiliates, introducing brokers, and white-label partners, which have contributed to the firm’s global visibility and network expansion.

As it moves into its third decade of operation, the firm appears focused on refinement and reinvention. Instead of radical changes, FP Markets continues to enhance core features like faster execution, wider platform access, and deeper product coverage. It is this approach that has allowed the broker to remain relevant through changing market cycles and evolving trader demands.

The 20-year milestone serves as a signal of the company’s intent to keep adapting. In an industry that often rewards short-term performance, FP Markets has chosen a longer path – one that prioritizes operational stability, regulatory responsibility, and client-focused growth.
