Huawei today unveiled several new solutions aimed at improving operations and maintenance (O&M) for enterprise clients at the Huawei Enterprise O&M Summit 2023.
Currently underway in Cape Town, the summit is being run under the theme, “Towards Intelligent Operation” and has seen Huawei bring together more than 40 technical experts, O&M executives, chief technical officers (CTOs), and chief information officers (CIOs) to discuss the latest advances in O&M as well as future opportunities brought about by ongoing digital transformation.
During the keynote speech at the summit, Guo Guoqing, President of Huawei Southern Africa Enterprise, pointed out that Huawei’s long history of technical innovation in the information and communication technology (ICT) space means that it’s at the forefront of O&M advances.
Huawei Enterprise Services combines its experience in digital transformation with ICT technologies. This has allowed it to build an intelligent O&M solution to achieve visualized O&M, full-application awareness, and service continuity, helping customers achieve business success.
In line with this, Huawei has launched several new solutions aimed at the enterprise market. Hank Stokbroekx, Vice President of Huawei Enterprise BG Digital Technology Service Dept, Wang Hui, President of Huawei Southern Africa Enterprise Service Dept, Liang Yi, Vice President of Huawei Industry O&M Service and SmartNOS Service, and Clive Tet Fong Chin, Senior Consultant, Huawei Enterprise Services, released Huawei Intelligent O&M service solution Smart NOS 2.0 and Hi-Ops3.1.*
Smart NOS 2.0 is the latest iteration of the Huawei Smart Network Operation Service (NOS), which is a proactive O&M and high-end consulting network service. Hi-Ops3.1, meanwhile, enables visualized operation management, integrated with best practices, sensing all your applications and always business online, facilitates enterprise’s digital transformation.
Both solutions provide customers with the full weight of Huawei’s extensive ICT O&M experience and capabilities in the market, helping customers take an intelligent approach to O&M and improving O&M efficiency.
As Jonathan Tullett, Associate Research Director, IDC South Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa, pointed out in his keynote, the kind of efficiency offered by the latest iterations of Huawei’s solutions will be crucial, especially given that IT transformation has become the top priority for enterprises, and efficient O&M efficiency is the most important part.
