South African Airways (SAA) today informed loyal customers that it has Voyager virtual membership card. Customers can access the virtual card by downloading the latest version of the SAA Voyager App which is available on the App Store, for iOS, and Play Store for Android.
“We at SAA Voyager are certainly very excited that the waiting is finally over! Effective today, 6 September 2021, you are once again able to utilise your accumulated Voyager miles for redemption on SAA and all Voyager program partners,” SAA said in a newsletter to customers.
“Before you book, please note that we have become aware of intermittent issues impacting the ability to complete some Voyager Miles bookings on the website.”
As communicated previously, upon restart of operations on 23 September 2021, SAA will resume flying between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Commencing 27 September 2021, SAA will also begin flying to Maputo, Lusaka, Harare, Kinshasa and Accra.
“As a member you will earn double Voyager miles when traveling on South African Airways operated flights during the first month of operations,” SAA reiterated.
The promotion period applies to flights from 23 September 2021 until 22 October 2021.
Mileage Expiry
“In recognition of your patience and support we will be extending the validity of any of your Voyager miles due to expire on 31 March 2022 until 31 March 2023 providing you more time to utilise your miles. The extension will reflect on your Voyager account within the next month.”
