In line with its stated intention of strengthening governance and board independence, the specialist investment bank, Grindrod announced today that it has appointed Zizipho Nyanga as a non-executive board director.
Nyanga’s announcement follows the recent appointment of Amanda Dambuza as the chairperson of the board effective 1 March 2020.

Nyanga is a Chartered Accountant and has recently obtained the GIBS Global Executive Development certificate, with distinction. She sits on a number of boards including Adapt IT. She is a result-oriented and decisive leader with over 16 years of experience in entrepreneurship development, deal-making, audit, financial and risk management.
Nyanga is a firm believer in collaboration in order to make a meaningful impact toward the economic transformation of ordinary South Africans. As a proactive leader, she thrives in energetic yet demanding environments while remaining practical and focused.
