JSE-listed technology group Altron’s acting chief financial officer (CFO), Tim Jones, resigned on Thursday to assume a permanent CFO role at a multinational group.
Altron informed investors on Thursday that Jacobs resignation is effective from 19 October 2018.
“Andrew Holden, the current chief operating officer (COO) of Altron will assume the joint role of COO and acting CFO on 19 October 2018. Holden has extensive experience in the ICT sector, having been with the Altron group for the past 24 years,” the company said.
The group, which is led by Mteto Nyati, added that the recruitment process of identifying a permanent CFO is progressing.
“The board thanks Jacobs for his contribution to the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.”
Altron, which is valued at R6.5 billion, has seen its shares jumped 24.7% in the past six months and increased 38% year-to-date.
