As part of its summer campaign dubbed “With Love from MTN, the mobile phone operator is turning five of its lucky subscribers into overnight millionaires just for being on the MTN network. By Staff Writer


MTN will be giving away a monthly cash prize of R1 million to each lucky subscriber between October 2015 to January 2016 just for staying on the MTN network.

This cash prize of R1 million in cash will be given at the end of each month to one lucky subscriber.

That’s not all, MTN is further sharing the love by giving away approximately R5 million in Lifestyle shopping and restaurant vouchers weekly to lucky subscribers.

The competition is open to all MTN customers.

In order to qualify customers must either, recharge with airtime, buy MTN data bundles, buy an MTN Prepaid Device, subscribe or upgrade on MTN contract price plans. Every Rand spend will automatically earn customers an entry into the draw. The more customers spend on the MTN network, the better their chance of pocketing the grand or weekly prizes.

“There is no better way to usher in the much-awaited season of summer than giving back to customers for staying connected on MTN’s world class network. This campaign seeks to put a smile on our customers’ faces, reward them for their loyalty and patronage and remind them of our commitment to offer them a distinct customer experience, says Larry Annetts, Chief Marketing Officer at MTN South Africa.

As part of the promotion, MTN customers who purchase 2GB or more of data bundles will receive 1GB for free.

“We are giving our customers the opportunity to connect to the rich world of data more cost effectively so that they remain connected with their loved ones for longer,” says Annetts.
