The Mandrolli Auto consortium plans to build electric cars in the Eastern Cape, including a $1.5 million or R22 million “hypercar” bearing Nelson Mandela’s signature. South Africa’s communications watchdog ICASA will hold virtual public hearings next week on the draft Mobile Broadband Services Regulations published on 26 March 2021 for public comments. The Independent Communications Authority of SA (ICASA) said in a statement on Friday that virtual public hearings will be held on 12 and 13 August 2021.
