The Master Developers of Zimbali Lakes have shifted luxury living into high gear with the launch of The Avanti Residences and the Tatali Society Club, marking the arrival of KwaZulu-Natal’s first-ever supercar-centric residential development.

The 26 August 2025 unveiling was more than a property launch; it was an immersive experience that fused high-octane automotive culture with unparalleled coastal luxury, drawing high-net-worth buyers, investors, and car enthusiasts.

The event transformed the estate into a pit lane of prestige, lined with supercars and vintage vehicles. Guests enjoyed fine canapés and cocktails before an exclusive presentation on the development. The evening peaked with the dramatic reveal of a Miami blue Avanti-branded McLaren, setting the tone for an F1 simulator competition and a black-carpet runway showcase.

Answering a Market Demand

The launch highlighted a growing demand for secure, world-class storage for high-value vehicles in the region. Zimbali Lakes answers this through its TSC Showroom and Supercar Vault, a climate-controlled facility developed in partnership with supercar experts RACE!.

The vault offers showroom-grade presentation, detailing, and maintenance for automotive assets often valued over R5 million.

“Supercars are more than vehicles; they are delicate works of art that demand specialist care and asset management,” said Neil Cocker, TSC & Avanti Residences Operations Manager. “Our research confirmed the demand for this offering… The idea… of providing all Tatali residents with access to the TSC Showroom and Supercar Vault means that those buying into Avanti Residences will also have access to both the lifestyle and the management framework to protect and elevate these high value automotive assets.”

A Lifestyle Beyond the Ordinary

Beyond automotive excellence, Avanti offers 63 residences – From one-bedroom apartments to expansive penthouses – all designed to maximise ocean, lake, and fairway views.

Residents gain access to the TSC Skybar & Restaurant, a rooftop destination for experiential dining. Membership to the Tatali Society Club also includes whiskey lockers, cigar lounges, and curated networking events.

“Avanti Residences is a statement in design and lifestyle within Zimbali Lakes,” added Dave McGregor, Sales & Marketing Manager at Zimbali Lakes. “It combines the exclusivity of Zimbali Lakes Estate address with the unique prestige of a supercar-focused community.”

A Sanctuary for Supercars

For operating partner RACE!, the project is a natural extension of its brand philosophy of automotive excellence.

“Partnering with Zimbali Lakes to create the TSC Showroom and Supercar Vault… allows us to create a sanctuary for supercars in KZN,” explained Marco Casciani, Owner at RACE!. “For me, cars have always been more than machines. They’re emotion, precision, and power… With the TSC Supercar Vault, we’ve created a safe haven in KZN where vehicles are not only protected, but curated and performance-ready. This is about preservation, value, and passion.”

Availability & Pricing

Residences at Avanti are now selling from R2.45 million for 1-bedroom apartments, R5.3 million for 2-bedroom duplexes, and from R8.47 million for penthouses. The flagship 3-bedroom penthouse is available at R17.5 million. Short-term rentals are permitted, and pets are welcome subject to terms and conditions.
