Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) has officially opened applications for its 2027 Graduate Training Programme, a flagship two-year initiative designed to equip young professionals with the practical experience, technical knowledge and leadership skills needed to build successful careers in the automotive industry.

The Toyota Graduate Training Programme offers graduates a structured pathway into the world of work, combining hands-on experience with formal learning and mentorship. Participants will contribute to real business projects, collaborate with experienced professionals and gain exposure to various aspects of one of South Africa’s leading automotive manufacturers.

The graduate programme adopts Toyota’s internationally recognised development framework, comprising:
- 70% experiential learning through practical work assignments and business projects.
- 20% formal learning through technical and classroom-based training.
- 10% mentorship and coaching from experienced leaders and subject matter experts.
Applications are open to graduates from a wide range of disciplines, including Engineering, Business and Commercial Studies, Technology, Finance, Built Environment and People Management. To be considered, applicants must be in their final year of study or have recently completed a relevant qualification from a recognised institution. Candidates should demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential and a commitment to continuous learning.
