In a major move that redefines the future of business, Salesforce and Google have dramatically expanded their strategic partnership. The core of this alliance? A powerful infusion of Google’s cutting-edge Gemini models directly into the new Agentforce 360 Platform, setting a new standard for intelligent, connected customer and employee interactions.

This is positioned as a fundamental shift towards an “Agentic Enterprise,” where AI agents work seamlessly alongside humans to automate complex processes and unlock unprecedented productivity.

The Brain Behind the Operation: Gemini Powers Salesforce’s AI

The expanded partnership places employee productivity at the forefront, but its intelligence runs deep. Customers can now use Gemini models to power Salesforce’s Atlas Reasoning Engine – the brain behind Agentforce.

This partnership is built for solving real-world business problems.

As Silvio Savarese, Chief Scientist at Salesforce, stated: “In the enterprise environment, it’s imperative for AI agents to be highly capable and highly consistent, especially for critical use cases. Together, we are setting a new standard for building the future of what’s possible in the Agentic Enterprise down to the model level.”

The collaboration goes beyond text generation. By expanding the capabilities of large action models with fine-tuned Gemini, customers can now more accurately and reliably automate complex, multistep business processes – from lead qualification to multi-tiered IT service requests.

Transforming the Employee Experience with Google Workspace

For the workforce, this means a seamless, context-aware experience within the tools they use daily. The integration between Agentforce 360 and Google Workspace with Gemini is profound:

  • For Sales: A website visitor can trigger Agentforce Sales to start a personalized Gmail conversation, qualify the lead, and schedule a meeting in Google Calendar—all automatically.

  • For Insights: Sellers can securely access and view CRM data and insights directly within the Gemini app and across Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.

  • For IT Service: The new Agentforce IT Service solution offers out-of-the-box integrations to automate access to Google Workspace, manage ChromeOS device security, and analyze trends with Looker.

George Kwon, VP of Product Management for Google Workspace Platform and Growth, emphasised the impact: “The deeper integration of Google Workspace with Gemini and Salesforce has the power to fundamentally improve how teams get work done. This integration unifies critical business information with powerful AI assistance, helping teams across sales, customer service, and IT make smarter decisions and streamline their work with critical information, all from the tools they use every day.”

Slack Meets Gemini: Insights from the Flow of Work

The partnership also brings Gemini Enterprise directly into the collaborative heart of many organizations: Slack. Through an integration with Slack’s Real-Time Search API, Gemini Enterprise can ground its responses in an organisation’s most current conversational data and files.

Users can even interact with a Gemini Enterprise agent directly from the Slack interface, creating a bidirectional workflow that turns collective knowledge into instant, actionable insights.

A Commitment to Open and Connected Intelligence

This joint commitment to enterprise-grade AI is strengthened by support for open standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A), which enable multi-agent collaboration across platforms and specialized domains. This ensures that the AI ecosystem remains flexible, powerful, and future-proof.

By combining the power of the #1 CRM with Google’s leading AI and productivity platforms, businesses are now equipped to fully embrace the Agentic Era, where intelligent automation drives growth, builds trust, and transforms every customer touchpoint.
