At Intel Vision 2025 in Las Vegas, Intel leaders reaffirmed the company’s commitment to customer success, innovation, and ecosystem growth.

The event highlighted Intel’s strategic priorities, including advancements in AI, data center solutions, and Intel Foundry’s progress, all driven by a customer-first approach.

A Customer-Centric Vision

Intel’s leadership emphasised the importance of listening to and collaborating with customers to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

“Yesterday you heard from Lip-Bu that our work is not over, that we have to continue to do a lot of hard work,” said Christoph Schell, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Intel, echoing sentiments shared by new Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan during Day 1 of the event.

“It is our No. 1 job to make you successful.”

Michelle Johnston Holthaus, CEO of Intel Products, reinforced this focus: “Everything we do starts and ends with you – our customers. We are laser-focused on understanding your biggest challenges, your needs and, most importantly, your opportunities … then innovating to design world-class products and solutions that help you accelerate your businesses.”

Schell outlined three key areas to strengthen Intel’s customer and ecosystem strategy:

  1. Reinforcing Intel’s commitment to x86 architecture.
  2. Optimizing internal structures to enhance agility and better serve customer needs.
  3. Revamping Intel’s go-to-market strategy to deepen regional and ecosystem collaboration.

These initiatives underscore Intel’s dedication to responsiveness, innovation, and customer-driven growth.

Customer Success Stories: AI, Edge, and Data Center Breakthroughs

Day 2 of Intel Vision 2025 showcased how Intel’s technology is transforming industries—from defense to weather forecasting and enterprise AI.

1. EdgeRunner AI: Secure, On-Device Generative AI

EdgeRunner AI delivers air-gapped generative AI for military and enterprise use, enabling natural language processing without internet dependency. Their Athena AI assistant runs on Intel® Core™ Ultra processors and leverages Intel’s OpenVINO™ toolkit for optimized performance.

“Intel has been amazing, and what I really like about the entire Intel ecosystem is they’ve been leaning in with our engineering team,” said Tyler Saltsman, CEO of EdgeRunner AI.

“They help us optimize our different agents so they can inference more efficiently… There’s a reason Intel owns 80% of the market. They’re the most trusted by the Department of Defense, and they’re the most stable and secure.”

2. Inflection AI: Enterprise-Grade AI at Scale

Inflection AI’s enterprise AI system runs on Intel® Gaudi® AI accelerators and Intel® Tiber™ AI Cloud, delivering virtual AI co-workers trained on company-specific data.

“Scaling AI, you need to focus on efficiency, and that’s why we’ve worked closely with Intel engineers to optimize every single aspect of the way the pipelines and the inference runs on Gaudi hardware,” said Ted Shelton, COO of Inflection AI.

“We are now running our models at a performance level that is on par with the H100 on Gaudi 2, and not on Gaudi 3—which is what we’re starting now.”

3. Kamiwaza AI: Revolutionising Weather Data Analysis

Powered by Intel® Xeon® 6 processors and Intel Gaudi AI accelerators, Kamiwaza AI processes 90 years of U.S. weather data in minutes, a task that would take weeks manually.

“Given our focus on the environment, efficiency was extremely important to us in selecting an AI solution,” said Sunny Wescott, a federal meteorologist.

“When the Kamiwaza team showed us Intel’s Gaudi accelerators and Xeon 6, we knew we could get the energy and water efficiency we needed.”

4. Softtek: Accelerating AI-Driven Business Solutions

Softtek’s FRIDA platform, powered by Intel Gaudi, speeds up software development by 40% while enhancing automation and analytics for clients.

“We have this partnership in which we [Intel and Softtek] together can bring solutions that accelerate AI transformation across Latin America and the United States,” said Blanca Treviño, CEO of Softtek. “With Intel technologies, we can deliver on the promise to improve performance, optimize cost, and create future-ready solutions.”

Intel Foundry: Advancing Manufacturing and Ecosystem Growth

Kevin O’Buckley, senior vice president of Foundry Services, announced that Intel 18A manufacturing technology has entered risk production, with volume production expected in late 2025. He also previewed Intel Foundry Direct Connect, an upcoming event on April 29 in San Jose, where further innovations will be unveiled.

Additionally, Intel highlighted a new collaboration with Microsoft Azure and F5, aiming to enhance performance and security across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

Forward-Looking Commitments

Intel’s leadership remains focused on delivering cutting-edge AI, data center, and foundry solutions while maintaining strong customer partnerships. As the company navigates rapid technological advancements, its mission is clear: to drive innovation that empowers businesses worldwide.

“It is our No. 1 job to make you successful,” Schell reiterated, a promise that continues to guide Intel’s path forward.
