MTN South Africa has launched five new uncapped home internet products, starting from only R249pm. The MyMTN Home Internet Starter, Pro, Premium, Ultra and Infinite offerings are all month-to-month plans – meaning that you pay monthly, you can cancel anytime, and you get a free to use router.

With these products, MTN aims to change the way customers work, study, play and enjoy social media and streaming apps at home with an ultra-fast and ultra-reliable broadband connection at affordable prices.

“Our aim is to make every home a ‘digitally connected’ home”, says Ernst Fonternel, Chief Consumer Officer at MTN South Africa.

“With MyMTN Home Internet, online schooling, remote monitoring of smart home services, working, streaming favourite content services, online gaming, staying connected with loved ones across the globe has never been easier. And because we’re continuously improving our network and increasing our broadband footprint, customers in every corner of South Africa can expect to experience the latest in communication technology on SA’s fastest network”.

Developed with customers’ needs and budgets in mind, MyMTN Home Internet deals range from R249pm for speeds of up to 10Mbps through to the Infinite deal, priced at R999pm offering maximum best effort speed (300Mbps).  All deals are month-to-month and offer a free-to-use plug-and-play router for multiple connected devices.

Deals include:

“With our new MyMTN Home Internet deals, customers do not have to choose what they want to use the internet for, the only choice they will need to make is which deal suits their home and family needs, and we’ll do the rest”, continues Fonternel.

“With ultra-fast broadband speeds bundled with uncapped data, we’re digitally enabling customers for the next level of IoT and smart home devices – simultaneously offering affordable solutions to households that may not have been able to connect before, and bringing unparalleled quality to those who already are.”

The new MyMTN Home Internet deals are available online at www.mtn.co.za or in-store.

This is exciting news! Uncapped home internet for just R249pm is a game changer, especially for those of us who work from home. I can’t wait to see how this affects connectivity and pricing in the broader market. Hoping for reliable service and great speeds!
