Binance, the world’s leading blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, has announced that it is eliminating fees on South African Rand (ZAR) deposits for a time period as it continues to establish itself as the global leader in pricing.

Just recently, Binance launched its fiat gateway, enabling users to instantly deposit South African Rands (ZAR) into their Binance wallet and buy crypto.

From September 7, users can enjoy zero fees when making those deposits. Binance continues to drive financial accessibility through safe, secure and affordable payments across the industry.

“Binance is, at its core, an inclusive platform designed with accessibility in mind. The decision to eliminate deposit fees for South Africans who wish to deposit ZAR on Binance is the right step in showing our commitment to remaining user-focused and making access to digital assets more effortless for South Africans. We hope to continue to give back to the community by providing them with the best products and services.” said Hannes Wessels, Country Lead for Binance in South Africa.

This announcement comes after Binance eliminated trading fees on a wide range of bitcoin spot trading pairs to celebrate its 5th anniversary in July.

The blockchain company also introduced zero-fee trading for the ETH/BUSD spot trading pair. These initiatives continue to further Binance’s goal of consistently offering users low fees and the best experience.
