MTN customers stand a chance to win a share of R50 million in rewards through the MyMTN YelloBucks loyalty and rewards programme from today until 30 September 2021.

In the months of May and June, MTN will give away R1 million in grand prizes each month – five customers will each win R100 000 in MoMo cash, and ten customers will each win a holiday experience to the value of R50 000.

MTN customers can win entries into the monthly draws by playing the YelloBucks Tap & Win game on the MTN App, or by just being a MyMTN YelloBucks subscriber. For every 1 YelloBuck earned during the monthly draw period, customers will receive one entry to win one of the grand prizes.

In addition to the grand prize draws in May and June, and until end-September, customers stand a chance to win smartphones, free and discounted bundles, YelloBucks and retail vouchers just by playing the MyMTN YelloBucks Tap & Win game.

To qualify and start earning YelloBucks, customers simply need to join, upgrade or buy bundles on the MTN network. To join the programme, customers need to log onto the MTN app or dial the *234# USSD string.

“Our aim with the MyMTN YelloBucks programme is to offer value, discounts and rewards to MTN customers at a time when more and more South Africans are looking for opportunities to save”, says Mapula Bodibe, Chief Consumer Officer at MTN South Africa.

“As tough economic conditions continue to impact the prices for goods and services, we are constantly looking for ways to increase the value we give to our customers and we believe that our revamped MyMTN YelloBucks loyalty and rewards programme and new YelloBucks promotion, does just this”.

To ensure that MyMTN YelloBucks reaches all MTN customers, MTN has developed a supporting USSD string for customers to redeem using feature phones, so all MTN customers can benefit simply for being on Mzansi’s Bozza Network.

Existing customers need to simply dial *234# on their mobile phones or download the MTN app and register to access MyMTN YelloBucks.

How to Register for MyMTN YelloBucks:

      • MyMTN YelloBucks is free to join
      • Customers must be over 16 and produce a valid SA ID or passport number to register
      • Download the MTN App and register or dial *234# and select the Register option.
      • Every R1 spent on recharge bundles or subscriptions earns customers 1 YelloBuck
      • One (1) YelloBuck is allocated for every (1) day a customer spends active on the MTN network

The MyMTN YelloBucks promotion will run until 30 September 2021; the first draw will take place on 27 May 2021
