OPPO South Africa is committed to delivering cutting edge computing performance to a wide audience and the A53s is a symbol of that promise. More mobile gamers across South Africa now have access to premium features like a buttery 90Hz high refresh rate screen, fast charging and high-end graphics at an affordable price.

This paradigm shift in budget-friendly performance begins with the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor which is the first 400-series CPU to gain the power of Kryo high-performance cores. This improves raw computing power by 70 percent over existing devices in its class. Graphics performance is also improved by 60 percent thanks to the premium Adreno 610 GPU, which means that A53s represents a 2x overall system performance increase for the market segment.

On the connectivity side OPPO A53s is equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard and is Bluetooth 5.1 enabled, so users can expect many years of great service and future compatibility with leading technology. A 5 000mAh battery with 18W fast charging means uninterrupted access to that incredible power.

OPPO backs up that incredible hardware with ColorOS enhancements on top of Android 10 with full Google services. These improvements include Super Power Saving Mode and Sleep Standby Optimisation to keep you connected to your critical apps even when the power is out for long periods, as well as RAM+ optimisations which uses AI to intelligently dedicate resources where you need it most and maximise the potency of the 128GB of fast UFS 2.1 storage and 4GB RAM.

OPPO A53s has something for everyone, but is ready for next-generation gaming with future-facing features that have never been experienced in this market segment. And with OPPO Rewards gives you a choice including a R300 Google Play voucher and a 12 month Go Gamers subscription.

Get an OPPO A-series device

Purchase an OPPO A72, that blends premium features and an affordable price into a stunning package, at a Vodacom Shop and you’ll receive a R500 in-store voucher. If you’re more of a mobile gamer who needs smooth performance and a buttery 90Hz display, then the OPPO A53s comes with a R250 in-store voucher.

Vodacom Shop and Vodaworld will make you the envy of all this Black Friday with these deals:

  • OPPO A72: R299/month (was R399) on 24-month contract
  • OPPO A53s: R249/month (was R299) on 24-month contract
