The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) announced late on Thursday that some of its key electronic services are offline.
The agency apologised for the system downtime.

Many applicants for the R350 COVID-19 Grant were frustrated by the message and voiced their anger on Twitter:
Sad thing is this was announced in April and we in June 😢.
But we haven’t received anything.
It’s tough.
They should’ve paid at least 80% of the people but ke only 2% 🙄

Sassa has been making excuses after excuses, this is the reasons y people do not trust and believe in government, its sad that it seems that sassa officials do not care at all,to many stories and lies from sassa i would not be surprised if there is stealing going on as it has become such a norm in this country with political figures.. I may be a citizen of this country but i feel this government failed its people as our lives has gone from bad to worse…I am ashamed to be a South African..Lives in South Africa do not matter to this government they only looking after themselves 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Tell that stupid minister to speed-up these @350Rands👊! Poor people, need their salaries as President @RankoCyrilRamapology has promised. If she can’t deliver, then she better get the hell out her office and handover to younger minister who can deliver!
