DStv Compact and Extra customers will soon have access to DStv’s best entertainment when it’s most convenient to them. By Staff Writer

DStv Catch Up allows customers to ‘catch up’ on their favourite series, movies, documentaries and sports events when it suits them. It’s a great way to not miss a single second of entertainment and to discover the great content available on DStv.

A selection of the most popular shows –  like Isibaya, The Road and Generations, as well as a selection of the best soccer and other sporting highlights is automatically sent to customers’  DStv Exploras – ready and waiting for them to watch whenever they have the time.

Up to 150 hours of the best entertainment will be made available and all of the Catch Up content is in crystal clear high definition. The content on DStv Catch Up is linked to the DStv package of the customer, eg DStv Compact customers will see content available on DStv Compact.

“We always look for opportunities to enhance the viewing experience of our customers and we want to give them access to cutting-edge services and products. It is for this reason that we constantly introduce new technologies and enhance our existing services. Offering Catch Up to our DStv Extra and Compact customers with DStv Exploras is just one of the ways we are doing this,” said Mark Rayner, COO MultiChoice South Africa.

DStv Compact and Extra customers with active Exploras will receive a software update in the next week which will enable the Catch Up service. Content will start downloading from 1 November and will build up to the 150 hours over time.
