Grant Bodley is to become the chief executive of Middle East & Africa (MEA) for Dimension Data as both current CEO and managing director for MEA are promoted to executive positions within the global group.
Bodley will assume the position of CEO from 1 October 2015 and Derek Wilcocks, current CEO of Dimension Data MEA, and Sean Joubert, current managing director of Dimension Data MEA will both be taking up executive positions.
Bodley joined Dimension Data in 2000. Prior to being appointed Sales Director of Dimension Data MEA in 2012 – the role he currently holds – he headed up Dimension Data MEA’s IT Outsourcing business.
The company said the management shake up was aimed at accelerating Dimension Data’s five-year strategy to double its revenues.
“Dimension Data has a long-standing commitment to promote from within. My board and executive team believe that Grant, who is highly regarded internally and by our clients, is the right candidate to take our business forward in MEA,” said Andile Ngcaba, Dimension Data MEA’s Chairman.
