DeFi is Dead? Long Live Banking: Why Digitap ($TAP) Beats Aave and UniSwap This Cyber Monday

For much of November, the DeFi sector has looked bruised. Decentralized finance has watched almost $60 billion wiped from total value locked (TVL) since October 7, plunging from roughly $172 billion to around $113 billion in just 45 days. That drop has weighed most heavily on the sector’s blue-chip protocols. Aave still leads the pack, but even it has slipped to just over $30.3 billion in TVL.

While DeFi battles outflows and fading confidence, a different corner of the market has quietly been taking the spotlight—PayFi, projects building real payment and banking solutions on crypto rails. And at the center of that trend is Digitap ($TAP), the often called best crypto presale that has surged massively during its high-energy 96 Hours of Madness Black Friday rollout.

Now, on Cyber Monday, Digitap’s madness campaign is counting its final hours, and traders who missed earlier deals, from 7,000 $TAP drops to 300% bonus boosts and cash giveaways, are flooding back into Digitap’s dashboard, refreshing the page in hopes of catching whatever surprises land before the clock runs out.

DeFi Heavyweights Lose Ground as Market Pressure Deepens

Aave and Uniswap, usually the anchors of decentralized finance, haven’t been spared this month’s downturn—both are down by 10% in just 24 hours.

AAVE’s chart has spent November leaning lower, slipping into the mid-$100s and repeatedly failing to break above resistance.

UNI has shown the same weakness, falling back toward the low-$6 range after several failed attempts to hold momentum.

Technical analysts point to the same themes across both tokens: fading volume, lower highs, and a lack of sustained demand as broader DeFi TVL continues to erode. Even when short-term bounces appear, they tend to meet sellers quickly, leaving both assets struggling to build any real trend.

Why Digitap’s PayFi Model Resonates During Market Weakness

Digitap stands in a different category altogether. It functions more like a crypto-enabled banking stack.

Users can:

  • Hold fiat and crypto in a single interface
  • Swap between them instantly
  • Send money globally for under 1%
  • Spend anywhere Visa is accepted via virtual or physical cards

Besides utility, its 96 Hours of Madness campaign, launched over Black Friday weekend, has turned into one of the most engaging presale events this season.

Across the first 72 hours, buyers reported everything from multi-thousand $TAP rewards to heavy percentage boosts, limited-time card upgrades, feature unlocks, and small windows of cashback offers. Some hours delivered modest perks. Others vanished so quickly that only the fastest buyers caught them.

Now, with Cyber Monday entering its last hours, the rumor mill is buzzing. Some users believe a final, oversized $TAP drop might appear; others think higher-tier Visa card upgrades or bonus-matching windows could show up.

There’s also chatter about one-off cash rewards from Digitap’s $1 million prize pool. None of it is confirmed, but unpredictability has been the point since the start.

The Best Crypto Presale That Has Outperformed a Falling Market

Even before the Black Friday surge, Digitap’s presale had been steadily building momentum. Its price progressed from $0.0125 to $0.0334, with the next scheduled move to $0.0361 approaching.

More than 136 million $TAP have been sold so far, and the raise has surpassed $2.25 million. Early participants are sitting on gains of around 165%, while current buyers still see meaningful room to the confirmed launch price of $0.14, a potential 300%+ gap before counting any bonuses or Cyber Monday incentives.

It’s one of the reasons Digitap is quietly emerging on lists of the best altcoins to buy during a month when most other sectors are struggling to stay green.

What Cyber Monday Reveals About Digitap’s Growing Momentum

With Cyber Monday now in its final hours, Digitap has become one of the rare projects that isn’t just holding steady in a difficult market but accelerating through it. And for investors looking for the best crypto investment opportunity in a month defined mostly by red candles, Digitap is definitely a standout pick.
