Best Altcoins to Buy Now as Germany Uncovers 45,000 Dormant BTC Tied to Movie2K Seizure

Germany’s missed Bitcoin haul has left traders debating the best altcoin to buy now. Many are turning their eyes to newer projects like MAGACOIN FINANCE, which some see as a fresh chance after missing Bitcoin’s early days.

BITCOIN

Germany’s Untouched Bitcoin Treasure

Crypto intelligence firm Arkham has revealed that more than 45,000 Bitcoin (BTC) linked to the Movie2K piracy site remain untouched in wallets. Worth nearly $5 billion, this stash rivals the 50,000 BTC German police seized in early 2024.

What makes this discovery intriguing is that these coins have been sitting idle since 2019, spread across more than 100 wallets.

Authorities previously called the January 2024 seizure the country’s largest ever, but Arkham’s findings suggest the story is far from over.

If proven to be linked to Movie2K, prosecutors would need to push through complex legal steps before being able to seize and liquidate them. For now, Bitcoin sits in limbo, highlighting how much digital wealth can remain hidden, dormant, and outside state control.

Germany’s Costly Bitcoin Sales

Germany’s handling of the Bitcoin it did seize has raised eyebrows. After taking custody of 49,858 BTC, prosecutors sold the coins across multiple exchanges in June and July 2024 at an average price of $57,900.

The sale raised around $2.8 billion, but just months later Bitcoin climbed past $100,000 — nearly doubling in value.

By November, the missed upside meant the same stash would have been worth over $5 billion. Prosecutors defended the timing, citing laws that require quick liquidation of volatile assets to avoid a possible 10% loss.

Still, traders view this as a textbook case of lost opportunity, reinforcing the belief that timing and holding can make all the difference in crypto.

MAGACOIN FINANCE: The Best Altcoin to Buy Now?

Stories like this spark a bigger question: what’s the best altcoin to buy now if you’ve missed Bitcoin’s rise? That’s where MAGACOIN FINANCE comes in. With a capped supply, transparent structure, and growing attention, it offers something Bitcoin once did — early entry with scarcity built into its design.

For those who look back at Germany’s sales or Bitcoin’s early price and feel they missed out, this project opens a new window. It’s about relatability: not everyone could buy Bitcoin under $100, but many today are asking if MAGACOIN is the next chapter worth paying attention to.

Final Word

Germany’s $5B oversight shows how quickly fortunes shift in crypto. While Bitcoin remains king, traders searching for the best altcoin to buy now are eyeing fresh names. For those who missed out on Bitcoin’s early rewards, visiting MAGACOIN FINANCE’s channels could be the next smart step:
