Dubai – Li Peng, Corporate Senior Vice President and President of ICT Sales & Service at Huawei, delivered a compelling vision for the future of industrial digital transformation at the 2024 Huawei Industrial Digital and Intelligent Transformation Summit, held during GITEX Global in Dubai.
Li’s message was clear: Huawei is leading the way in innovation to help customers succeed, empower local partners, and cultivate homegrown talent.
“We’re combining our strengths in networking, storage, computing, cloud, and energy,” Li began, emphasising Huawei’s focus on building new digital and intelligent infrastructure.
“We’re working with partners to develop cutting-edge solutions that are adaptable across industries.”
Huawei has taken bold steps since the release of its reference architecture for intelligent transformation last year. This architecture has now been put into practice, enabling industries like government, finance, electric power, transportation, manufacturing, oil and gas, mining, and the Internet to benefit from Huawei’s advanced solutions.
Li highlighted, “We have summarised over 100 case studies that different industry customers can use to accelerate their digital and intelligent transformation.”
The success behind these initiatives, Li acknowledged, hinges on partnerships.
“These achievements would be impossible without our partners. At Huawei, we’re committed to building a healthy, open, and mutually beneficial partner ecosystem.”
To foster this collaboration, Huawei has established 14 OpenLabs globally, designed to support joint innovation with local solution providers.
“Together with over 30 solution partners in the UAE, we have developed more than 20 solutions to meet local industry needs,” Li proudly shared.
In his speech, Li emphasised Huawei’s continuous drive to support partners by offering lightweight, scalable solutions and efficient digital platforms. These innovations help partners serve SMEs more effectively, making it easier to bring digital solutions to the market.
But Huawei’s ambitions go beyond technology. The company is deeply invested in the future of local digital talent, recognising its role in sustainable development.
“Moving forward, Huawei is ready and willing to join forces with more customers and partners to enable industrial digital and intelligent transformation and bring more benefits to the lives and work of people around the world,” Li concluded.
In Dubai, Li’s message resonated: Huawei is not just innovating for today but laying the groundwork for a more connected and intelligent future, with partners and talent at the core of its strategy.
Speaking at the Huawei Industrial Digital and Intelligent Transformation Summit 2024 during GITEX Global in Dubai, Li Peng, Corporate Senior Vice President and President of ICT Sales & Service, outlined the company’s vision for an AI-driven future that empowers enterprises globally.
“The digital economy is evolving into an intelligent economy, and it will soon become the main engine of global economic growth,” Li Peng declared as he addressed a diverse audience of global partners and customers at the Conrad Dubai.
With an emphasis on innovation, he emphasised Huawei’s commitment to collaborating with companies worldwide to build the infrastructure and capabilities needed to thrive in this new era.
Peng highlighted how companies are increasingly integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and IoT technologies to enhance their operations, particularly in traditional industries like manufacturing.
