C-CONNECT, South Africa’s newest virtual mobile network operator (MVNO), has launched nationwide, offering mobile subscribers more choice and competition. With a focus on providing affordable mobile services without compromising quality, C-CONNECT is set to become the top choice for savvy prepaid users.

This innovative SIM-only prepaid brand operates on C-Cell’s robust network infrastructure, rewarding users for their everyday mobile activities. When subscribers top up their prepaid Airtime or Data, they earn 10% back in the form of Cha-Chings, an in-app currency that can be used to purchase items that enhance their lives.

Cha-Chings can be redeemed for a variety of lifestyle products and services, including prepaid electricity and water, event tickets, and gaming vouchers. This reward system allows customers to maximize their mobile spending while enjoying access to a wide range of lifestyle products.

New subscribers can sign up on the C-CONNECT app or website to have a SIM delivered to their door or a selected pickup point, or they can collect one from an authorized distribution partner. The full RICA process can be completed online, eliminating the need to visit a store. Activating the Pocket to receive and spend Cha-Chings is simple—just register on the website, download the C-CONNECT app, or dial *105#.

Customers can top up their Airtime or Data through the C-CONNECT app, online at c-connect.co.za, by dialing USSD (*105#), or by purchasing a voucher at a partner store. They can also recharge using Ringas or Blu Voucher, a universal, single-use prepaid airtime voucher. Data on the C-CONNECT app and Airtime on the USSD are zero-rated.

“With the South African consumer’s finances under immense pressure, we anticipate strong demand for our MVNO offering,” says Richard Anderson, Chief Operating Officer at C-CONNECT.

“We’re excited to connect consumers with rewards and businesses with new ways to make their customers happy.

“What sets us apart in a competitive market is that we offer people meaningful rewards for buying voice and data, an essential everyone needs.

“It’s the most rewarding connection for South African cellular subscribers with no fuss and no frills, just a straightforward and simple way to access a world of prepaid services with added benefits.

“With C-Connect, we’re not just offering connectivity; we’re giving our customers the power to see real rewards from their mobile usage.”
