There is no doubt that data has become the world’s most valuable resource in today’s digital world. And as it continues to skyrocket in volume and velocity, having access to data becomes critical for businesses and consumers alike. This is why having mobile data that never runs out is essential because it ensures that the digital economy is accessible at any time and from any place on your smartphone when required on the move.

With this in mind, South Africa’s best value network, Telkom, recently announced a new addition to its Infinite Product Suite, starting November 2023. Dubbed Infinite Max Plus, the product aims to simplify customers’ lives, and will be available to all new and existing mobile customers who sign up for SIM-only (month-to-month offer with no contract) or on a mobile deal where the plan is bundled with the latest premium smartphone device over a 24 or 36 month contract period.

Telkom introduced this package in recognition of the fact that people need data to effectively compete in the digital economy. Not only is data used for entertainment, online shopping, social media, productivity, navigation, transportation, and content streaming, it has become the lifeblood of modern communication, offering convenience and flexibility for staying connected in today’s mobile world.

By introducing Infinite Max Plus, Telkom is addressing this need for always available data by offering truly unlimited data. The plan promises 60GB of anytime, anywhere premium data, and unlimited data at up to 5Mbps speed, once the premium data allowance has been used up. In this way, users never have to worry about running out of data on their smartphones again or having to top-up with additional data bundles or even going out of bundle on data usage, which can result in running up exorbitant bills.

In addition, Infinite Max Plus customers also benefit from a staggering 3,000 all-network minutes for nationwide calls, as well as an additional 6,000 minutes to call any Telkom number, either mobile or fixed. In this way, users can stay connected with their loved ones, colleagues, and friends with ease for a mere R1099 per month,  and can enjoy some incredible lifestyle benefits.

Furthermore, unlike other plans, Infinite Max Plus comes with a host of lifestyle benefits, that are for Infinite Max Plus customers exclusively. These benefits include travel benefits where customers can get R400 domestic flight vouchers, or they can enjoy a monthly R1000 weekend away voucher as well as dining benefits which offer a two-for-one dining experience with R100 off the second meal.

Customers can also share the love via free data transfers to any Telkom Mobile number, up to 1GB daily and 10GB monthly allowance from their premium data. They can also access a dedicated service desk for priority service.

To deliver these amazing lifestyle benefits, Telkom has partnered with a rewards company that will provide access to a range of partner networks where customers would be able to redeem them.  Once a customer’s SIM has been activated, they will receive a welcome SMS with a portal link and a code unique to their number to unlock these incredible deals from participating partners.

This is just one more way in which Telkom is listening to its customers and addressing their most pressing need being having access to data. The company advises customers to carefully review the products and mobile packages offered by different providers, to find the one that aligns with their needs, preferences, and lifestyle.

Having a smartphone with always available data – anywhere and anytime is the key to being an active participant in today’s digital world.
