It is so important to keep your home or workplace as clean as possible. There are some germs, bacteria, and viruses that can be extremely harmful. Some chemicals can get rid of over 99% of all possible harmful substances. However, you need to choose the right products, and use a system that can improve your chances of disinfecting everything. It may take a few tries to do this right, but later, it will be well worth the time spent. Here is your guide to disinfecting everything so that you can stay safe.

What Would You Like to Clean?

People all over the world regularly clean the place where they live. This could be their living room, bathroom, or their bedroom. They may also clean the car, and if they have an office, they will likely clean their desk, chairs, and even their carpets or even hire cleaners. There are certain times when being cleanly is extremely important. There are certain viruses that can lead to very detrimental situations. As a result of this, it is more imperative than ever before to understand how to properly disinfect everything that you will likely touch.

Best Cleansers for Viruses and Bacteria?

Most people have purchased antibacterial soap that stores. There is the common assurance that this will help keep you from harm. There are also dispensers that have liquids that you rub on your hands that can theoretically kill all the bacteria and viruses on them. It is very common for people to pick up germs every day. Yet, this may not be advantageous. If you have people coming into your office, or friends coming to visit, you certainly want to keep everything as clean as possible. After they leave, you will have no idea what they have left behind. Therefore, using antibacterial soap, and cleaning surfaces with certain chemicals, can ensure your safety. These other cleansers will include ammonia, bleach, and other store-bought materials. Just remember to never mix bleach and ammonia.

How Long Can the Viruses and Bacteria Last?

Some viruses and bacteria can last for up to 24 hours. This is true, even on a surface like metal or stone. It is because of this that many people inadvertently get sick, especially when they do not wash their hands after touching something foreign. The viruses that you get to not simply permeate your skin. Most people consume something, using their hands, and it gets into the body. You may also rub your nose, allowing the viruses to get in through the nasal cavity, and some bacteria can go in through the mouth. Therefore, to prevent this from happening, you need to clean everything on a regular basis.

Does Washing Your Hands Help?

Washing your hands can certainly help if it is done regularly. It is recommended that you use hot water with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds. You need to wash your hands directly under the water, especially while rinsing, to ensure that the bacteria does not stay. It is well-known that some viruses can linger in the air. You cannot protect yourself from that unless you wear a mask. What we need to focus on, however, is how to keep surfaces clean. These are the steps you need to take to disinfect everything.

Start from The Top Down

It is unlikely that viruses can exist on surfaces at the ceiling level that will affect you on the ground. Therefore, you need to focus on the highest points in your home or office that you could inadvertently touch. It is recommended that you use latex gloves when doing this. On many people use Clorox wipes. You could also use ammonia. You will need to have a bucket with a towel for large surfaces, and that water should contain liquid soap. Therefore, you can quickly scour large areas very rapidly. This will enable you to clean everything within the hour. If you can enlist the help of friends or family members to help you, or your employees, this can be done every day in the span of 30 minutes.

To disinfect everything in your home or office, you need to get your supplies ready. This includes a bucket, rag, sponge, and soap for the bucket. The water should be hot, and you should wear latex gloves to protect yourself from viruses, bacteria, and potentially scolding your hands. If you are cleaning surfaces such as a desk, countertop, or your bathroom, using Clorox wipes, or a rag that has ammonia or bleach, can be helpful.

Always avoid mixing ammonia and bleach as this can create toxic fumes. You do need to wash your hands before and after this process. This will help eliminate the potential for transitioning bacteria and viruses into your system.

Once done, wash your latex gloves to use them later, or simply throw them away, and restart the process the following day.

Doing these simple things will allow you to stay safe, especially if there are germs that could be harmful to you and others.
