Vodacom’s Summer ShakeUp! campaign is shaking up lives for the better.

Today at Highveld Mall Vodacom handed over the keys of a brand-new Audi A4 to Songezo Mampungu from Witbank.

Born in Mount Frere in the Eastern Cape, Songezo moved to Witbank 10 years ago to join his family and spends his days making sure other people’s cars are spotless at the local car wash where he works to help support his family.

Not only is this 28-year-old Songezo’s first set of wheels, but the first car in his immediate family and a big deal for everyone.

“My employer previously transported me to and from work so now I can get to work on my own and do so many things for my family,” he explains.

“I am so grateful to Vodacom for lifting me up from the ground and helping to get me on my feet. I am still in disbelief and can’t really express what this means to me”

Jorge Mendes, Chief Officer of Consumer Business Unit, said Vodacom focuses on creating campaigns and services that keep their customers at the heart of everything that they do and it’s all about inclusion with this year’s Summer ShakeUp! Campaign.

“We are connecting people today for a better tomorrow and Songezo’s excitement is confirmation that we are on the right track.”

Download the My Vodacom App and join in the Shake revolution or chat to TOBi on WhatsApp via 082 009 8624 [082 009 TOBi]. Alternatively dial *133# to start shaking now.
