Nuo, a banking platform based on Blockchain and working with cryptocurrenices, has open first ever crypto bank branch and ATM in Singapore.
“This would be the world’s first decentralized bank branch without a branch manager,” Varun Deshpande, co-founder of Nuo, said in the company’s blog in Medium.
“All the processes in the branch are completely automated and decentralized, ensuring no queues at all times. Our users from around the world can visit this branch and avail our services at no extra cost.”
Bank of the future for emerging markets
Nuo aims to provide financial services for the next billion by creating a decentralized and transparent banking platform.
The company was founded by serial entrepreneurs Deshpande, Ratnesh Ray, and Siddharth Verma.
Nuo wants to create a global alternative to traditional banking and accelerating adoption of cryptocurrencies.
Deshpande says Nuo’s goal has always been to create a bank without bankers and eliminating branch manager is just the first step.
“We are also introducing Advanced Artificial Robotic Account Managers (AARAM) to manage customers personally at our branch.”
With AARAM, Nuo’s users can use voice based commands to get answers to their important queries regarding crypto prices, private keys, decentralized loans etc without being annoyed with frequent calls to invest their savings in a new insurance policy.
To book your very own AARAM, you can install our app and sign up now.
The current Nuo app lets users store their cryptocurrencies (BTC, LTC, BCH) and enables peer to peer transactions.
Customers visiting the branch can use world’s first crypto ATM to deposit or withdraw bitcoin, litecoin or bitcoin cash. We would soon be adding support for ethereum and other ERC-20 tokens as well. This ATM is completely decentralized and you can directly login to your account with your M-Pin or fingerprint.
Nuo Bank Branch in Singapore would be open 24*7 and throughout the year without any bank holidays.
“This marks a new era in the history of banking,” says Deshpande.
