Ramaphosa appoints Mabuza as Deputy President

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa announced late on Monday DD Mabuza as his Deputy President.

Pending the completion of their swearing-in as Member of the National Assembly,  David Mabuza will be appointed as the Deputy President of the Republic.

“These changes are intended to ensure that national government is better equipped to implement the mandate of this administration and specifically the tasks identified in the State of the Nation Address,” said Ramaphosa.
